[Guest Post] My Secret for Supercharging Rankings Overnight

My Secret for Supercharging Rankings Overnight

We’re always excited to share tips with you that help you make the most out of using Squirrly SEO, our top SEO plugin for WordPress! And this tip is particularly interesting because it comes straight from one of our Squirrly users.

Cristina is part of a team of talented marketers who run the site called Servicii.app (a business directory for Romanians living in the United Kingdom, which aims to make their life abroad easier).

And she has an awesome hack for leveraging some of the information provided within Squirrly to create multiple streams of traffic from a single piece of content and boost online visibility for a WordPress site.

More specifically, Cristina was able to nearly double the number of keywords for which her site ranked on the 1st page of Google, basically overnight – and without creating any new content.

Curious to know how she did?

Here’s the whole story, written in Cristina’s own words.

***The rest of this post was written by Cristina from Servicii.app. Enjoy!***

How I Got Started

As a marketer for Servicii.app, I am obsessed with constantly checking the rankings of our site, especially since that’s so easy to do using the Squirrly SEO Plugin.

While I was checking the Rankings, I decided to try something new to see what would happen.

But before I dive into it, here’s some background information about our site.

So, on December 10, 2019, our site was on the first page of Google with 18 keywords (it’s important to mention that this is a new site, so we were extremely pleased with these metrics).

It’s also worth noting that all of these amazing rankings were achieved by following the guidance provided by Squirrly’s Focus Pages system.

Here’s a snapshot of our Rankings for the site Servicii.app (as they were on December 10, 2019):

Pretty cool, right?

In order to further increase our success, our team of writers worked on writing some new articles. The result?

We’ve managed to increase online visibility for our site on Google Search, which was on the 1st page of Google with 20 keywords back then.

Below, you can a snapshot of our site’s Rankings from December 16.

We could definitely see an increase in our success but the improvement was not as significant as we would have liked it to be.

So, here’s the approach we took next.

Step 1: Synchronize Keywords with Search Console

Wanting to further advance our SEO efforts, I decided to do something that I don’t know how many other Squirrly users do.

And that is to click on that blue button you see in the Rankings Section (the one pictured below; if you’re a Squirrly user, you’ve probably already seen it).

I was curious to see what kind of information will be revealed by clicking the button and syncronizing keywords with Google Search Console.

As it turns out, just by doing this small thing, you get access to all kinds of interesting data. For example:

  • You can see which keywords your site is ranking for on Google and gain a better understanding of the topics for which your site is most visible on Search.
  • You can see the average position for keywords that you’re ranking for, as well as how many impressions and clicks it generates. Squirrly also shows you the click-through-rate.
  • You can see the trending keywords which are suitable for your website’s future topics (Squirrly checks for new keywords weekly based on your latest keyword searches).

Okay, so here’s what we did next:

Step 2: Analyze the Data to Identify Most Valuable Keywords

We looked at the keywords revealed in the report and tried to find some relevant keywords that made sense for our SEO strategy.

Note! If you decide to do this yourself, expect to also find a couple of keywords that don’t make much sense (simply ignore those).

Step 3: Add the Keywords to Briefcase

Once I found a keyword that I thought represented a strong keyword opportunity, I simply clicked on those 3 bullets to add them to my Squirrly Briefcase  (as shown in the image above).

Using the Briefcase feature makes it super easy to organize everything and simply add the keywords you find to your articles.

Personally, I like my Briefcase to be very well organized so that I can see what are the keywords I found and which are the keywords discovered by my teammates.

I use labels for this, as well as for grouping keywords based on different topics that I want to cover with the content posted on our site.

Here’s how our Squirrly Briefcase looks like:

Once I added the keywords to Briefcase, I made sure to assign them a label by clicking the 3 bullets (as shown below).

The easiest way to find the keywords you’ve just added from the Syncronize Keywords panel is to look at the associated data.

The keywords for which you see the No research data text instead of the keyword info button are the keywords you’re looking for.

Step 4: Include Keywords in Relevant Articles

Once you’ve identified the keywords, you can click on the 3 bullets and then on Refresh Research to see all the info Squirrly SEO plugin offers you for each particular keyword.

I recommend doing this so that you have a clear understanding of each keyword’s potential, in terms of how much traffic it can bring to your site and how easy it will be to rank for.

That’s what I did and whenever I found a keyword I was pleased with, I added it as a secondary keyword in an article that made sense.

For example, I had an article about the most popular Christmas markets that one can visit in London. My primary keyword for that article was Christmas Markets.

I decided to keep that keyword as my primary keyword because I previously researched it and decided it was a valuable one. However, I also added Christmas markets London 2019 as my secondary keyword and optimized my article for that keyword as well using the Live Assistant.

That’s the keyword that I found by syncronizing keywords to Search Console in step 1 (well, its English translation, since all the content on our site is written in Romanian).

What I like is that you access the keywords extra easy – right from the Edit article dashboard.

All you have to do is go to the Edit version of the article where you want to add the keyword and click on the Briefcase icon (above the Squirrly Live Assistant).

And there they are – all the keywords you saved to Briefcase.

Then, you can either:

  • Filter keywords by the label you assigned to them;
  • Search for them in the search bar;
  • or just scroll through the list, as the latest ones added to Briefcase will be the first ones to appear.

And that’s all there is to it. Yup, it’s that easy.

Just 4 Steps and We Nearly Doubled Our Success

On December 17,  2019, we had no less than 36 keywords on the 1st Page of Google.

That means we’ve nearly doubled the number of keywords for which our site ranks for on the 1st Page of Google Search. And it happened literally overnight.

All without having to invest additional time and resources into creating any new articles from scratch.

The metrics speak for themselves, but if I were to spell it out, I’d strongly encourage you to give this tactic a try as well, especially since it won’t take very much of your time.

Work smarter, not harder; that’s what I say. 🙂

Excited to Give This a Try Yourself?

The tactic Cristina so kindly presented in this post is all about leveraging low-hanging fruit and getting maximum impact with a minimum of effort invested.

As you saw, this simple and quick hack can help give your SEO efforts a considerable boost by increasing the number of keywords for which your website ranks on Google.

Plus, by ranking for multiple keywords with one piece of content and increasing the topical authority of your article, you can increase your ranking for your main keyword as well.

The benefits of using the method presented in this post are significant, and the best part is that you can start putting it into action right away.

You just need to make sure you have Squirrly SEO installed on your WordPress site.

Then, simply follow the steps below:

  • Go to Squirrly SEO/ Rankings;
  • Make sure your account is connected to Google Search Console;
  • Click on the blue button that reads Syncronize Keywords with Google Search Console;
  • Pick keywords that make sense for your SEO strategy and add them to Briefcase;
  • Find relevant articles/pages in which you can include the keywords you saved to Briefcase. Optimize the articles for those keywords using the Live Assistant.
  • Ask Google to reindex those articles/pages, so it knows that you’ve made some changes.
  • Check back in a few days to see if there are any changes in terms of your Rankings.

Squirrly SEO 2018: Steve Brings Exciting Updates to The Keyword Research Tool

keyword research tool

Just like Steve Jobs is an epitome of innovation, our updated Keyword Research Tool is aiming at the same level of excellence and innovation.

That’s why it follows the overall slogan for Squirrly’s Steve version – think differently.

For our keyword tool, thinking differently means providing the same quality while constantly seeking to be more customer-centric. We want to help you optimize your writing workflow while also ranking higher.

Because the fewer time it takes you to research the keywords, the more time you can allocate to creating the finest content (which is another part Squirrly SEO helps you excel at with the improved 2018 Inspiration Box).

That said, let me introduce the upgrades that help you both with writing and SEO.

 Time for A New Look

Right off the bat, you’ll notice a change in the visuals department.

This is how the tool looked like with the 2018 version.

And this is how it looks now with the Squirrly SEO 2018: Steve version:

The information was visible only when hovering over a specific item on the list – which some of the Squirrly SEO users did not notice. So we worked on the issue and came up with a more intuitive display of the research results.

As you can see with the Steve version, Squirrly now has a more user-friendly interface and displays the results in a neat table. You won’t have to hover over each keyword in order to get the data you’re looking for. The Squirrly SEO 2018: Steve keyword research tool saves you some effort and tries to make everything as straightforward as possible.

We gather the keyword data based on the same algorithm, but we introduced intervals for the search volume figures, to make it more relevant for values under 2000. SEMrush was our main provider for the search volume in the past, but they seem to have few keywords available (I mean.. they are a LOT, but still not enough for all our users. We’ve studied this). So for the ones that SEMrush doesn’t know about it we now have our own algorithm that shows the search volume.

To optimize your experience even more, we added the Options column, where you can press the Use Keyword button for the item you select. Once you do this, the keyword will be used in the “Optimize for Keyword” box.

Inside scoop: our next plugin update will let you create and manage your own space for keyword optimization across the entire website. But more on that towards the end of the year – until then, you can check what’s up with this version (called Squirrly Briefcase) on our public Trello board.

Fine-Tuning Your Keyword Research Experience

The Squirrly 2018 keyword research tool was a hit with our users, but we soon realized not all of them had the same needs when it comes to finding keywords.

This applies not only to the number of results retrieved but also to the amount of time different users are willing to spend within this stage of content creation.

So we sorted that out and added a button at the top of the keyword research box. What it displays is a list of 3 options:

  • Fast: retrieves up to 10 results in 20-50 seconds;
  • Normal: up to 20 results in one minute maximum;
  • Complex: up to 50 results in 300 seconds tops (this option analyzes more pages and the retrieval time depends on the type of keyword you enter. For a longtail or less common search query, our algorithm will naturally need more time to analyze the results.

Note: When you get the Squirrly Steve version, the keyword research will be set by default on the Normal mode. If you need fewer or more results, make sure you choose Fast or Complex.

From all our tests, we could see that the Complex search really does the work of an in-house SEO when it comes to researching keywords. It’s true that not everyone wants to spend so much time with the researches, but the results are really impressive. You can uncover many opportunities which would otherwise remain hidden.

 Countries. All of Them

Okay, most of them would’ve been a bit more accurate. Read on to see just how many we have available for you now.

As proud as we were of the Squirrly SEO 2018 version, there still was something missing.

Namely, the Keyword Research Tool displayed 26 countries users could perform the research for.

But since our user base is global, we kept getting asked about this or that country, so it didn’t take long until we added the 114 countries more. This makes for a total of 140 countries you can check. Right inside your WordPress editor. No additional tool needed.

It will give you the search habits and search patterns of people in 140 countries. You can find out exactly how they search in their own country. Searches are way different sometimes even between the U.S. and Australia. Imagine the difference from google.com to google.com.br

And as always, everything that we feed into the algorithms for those 140 countries is un-biased (unaffected by any Google personalization which usually happens in browsers and apps)

SEO specialists or not, you can all rejoice: whichever part of the world you are from, you now get to carry out targeted keyword research. Something like this:

A Keyword Research Tool with A Twist

The thing with keyword research tools is that they grant you the opportunity to fine-tune your marketing skills.

But fine-tuning does not imply a better understanding of analytics only. It also requires strategic, long-term thinking. Being able to interpret past results and make informed decisions for the future.

Being well aware of this, we enriched our keyword tool by adding the icing on the cake – the Export List option. It is a button you can find at the bottom right of the Keyword Research Tool box :

Click on it and Squirrly will automatically generate a downloadable Excel document featuring all the keywords generated across a research session.

keyword research tool

Now, all the information generated by the Squirrly Keyword Research Tool will be stored inside a separate folder that you can visit anytime you need.

Want to become a better marketer?

You can start by building a keyword research database. You can even compare how these insights changed over a period of time and then assess future changes in trends.

 Bottom Line

The ultimate goal we have in mind with the Squirrly SEO 2018: Steve version is helping business owners and marketers turn website pages from ‘never found’ to ‘always found’ on Google SERPs. In this respect, our updated Keyword Research Tool is certainly a key feature in our plan. Remember that the competition data is incredibly important because it tells you what chances each of your sites have of getting ranked on any keyword.

Here’s a recap on how it will achieve that for you:

  • more control over your keyword research experience;
  • 140 countries to research your keywords for;
  • relevant estimates for search volume data;
  • improved possibilities for local and longtail keywords research.

Once you’ve picked a keyword and created the content optimized for it, you can proceed to use the other Squirrly SEO Plugin settings. Mind you, we’ve got plenty of other feature updates for this version, so I’d say keep an eye on your inbox.

And now.. a few words on thinking differently and how this movement drives innovation at Squirrly.

It Started with a Movement.

Color decisions (finally revealing the answer to what people kept asking us since September 2013 when we switched to this logo):
squirrly seo logo steve wordpress seo 2018apple think different inspiration

When we first started the Squirrly Company 5 years ago, what do you think we set out to build?

– was it a generic plugin for WordPress?

NO. It was not. And thankfully we haven’t done that. Neil Patel agrees with me on this (in his own words).

– then what was it?

It was a Personal Assistant, Mentor and Coach for Digital Marketing. Yes, here is where the SEO Live Assistant from Squirrly and also our Settings Assistant have their roots.

At Squirrly we don’t just want to create a software for SEO. We want you to have a personal assistant which guides you through everything you need to do to go from “Never Found” to “Always Found” on the first page of Google.

You see? I’m not very sure that just a simple seo plugin could ever help you with that.

We’ve joined the “Think Different” mentality and movement because I do not want our mind to be limited by virtual boundaries that would naturally be set within our minds if we were to pursue the path of just building simple SEO software.

It was September 2013 when we decided that. It was during that month that we switched our logo to the Squirrly SEO product logo that you know today. And we sure ain’t changing it.

This logo reminds us that we need to keep thinking differently if we are to offer you the best possible solution of getting your pages to always be found on the first page of Google.

Back in 2013, we were the only ones building a software where you got weekly SEO Audits and progress reports. But not just basic crawling errors. Like full audits, sent weekly, for: blogging activity, traffic, SEO site structure, Social Media (if we want to improve your visibility we need to improve your social game as well), Links, Authority.

We would have never reached a point where we would give you such a complex audit on a weekly basis if we had stuck to traditional features. Apparently we were right. We were doing great things, because nowadays most SEO software comes packed with similar audits.

By thinking differently about what we can offer you according to your needs, we have built the Performance Analytics of Squirrly SEO. There’s never been an SEO plugin to offer SERP data, social media data, optimization data, even though these are some of the most important things that you can analyze and act upon.

I admit. Thinking differently set us on a weird path that ended up with us creating over 160 features for WordPress SEO. To understand this number, one could compare it to just 15 basic features present in Yoast, All In One SEO, Ultimate SEO and the others.

Yes, there are over 160 features, and by the time we finish Steve I think there will be a bit more of them.

Isn’t Bigger simply another way of saying Slower?

No. Not when it comes to the way we build software at Squirrly.

We were already the fastest SEO Plugin on the market. This happened in spite of having 108 features as opposed to just 15. Now we have over 160 features and we’re even faster than before. Squirrly SEO: Steve is faster than Squirrly SEO 2018.

Our amazing CTO, Calin Vingan, just outdid himself (again!) and re-wrote most of Squirrly SEO. Everything works better and it will allow us to build amazing things in Squirrly SEO 2018: Steve.

Squirrly is bigger and faster.

My number ONE goal is to help you get everything you need to go from never found to always found.

Other than just providing the tools for this, I want to make sure that you have an amazingly seamless experience with getting to that front page of Google.

That’s why in Steve you will see that it’s easier than ever to do any SEO optimization that you might want to do.

One of the great things you’ll see in Squirrly SEO: Steve is something that you (our amazing community) have told us we need to improve: the Quick SEO Plugin. It will no longer exist as a separate entity, because it has completely become a part of the basic Squirrly SEO offering.

This is not something that we wanted to do. But we do not care about that so much, because it’s important for us to offer you the best experience. An excellent experience, if you will.

Being customer centric is important to us. Being customer centric is more important than building whatever everyone else is building just to satisfy the status quo.

I mean… who’d name their company Squirrly? Well.. someone who IS squirrly. Super, super squirrly about being customer centric.

Does that mean we don’t build these things for us as well? Be 100% certain that we do.

We are also customers and we use Squirrly SEO non-stop. One of the big reasons why it keeps improving so often.

I think we’re managing to keep a really healthy balance in all of this. Also, we really can admit when our ideas weren’t the best. (and keeping QSS separate really wasn’t the best, I can now admit).

Thank you very much for reading this. And also a big thank you to Steve Jobs, the legend who inspired us to go down this path of thinking differently and designing for the best customer experience.

Oh, yes. And we’re having a Youtube LIVE event soon.

Sign up here to learn about the dates, how you can join and make sure you’ll have your private spot at the virtual event.

(How) Squirrly SEO Helps You Become a Better Marketer

Starting a business involves having a vision, a purpose for it, something that is greater than just making a profit. Of course, this doesn’t apply to everyone.

But all those of you who understand where I’m coming from also understand this: Building a company and, most importantly, growing it requires you to provide value and to share the knowledge you’ve gained.

This article is not meant to be sentimental. Its purpose is to remind you that Squirrly SEO was built not just to be a great product for you to use. It was created to help you succeed, to build a world of knowledge, a world which will empower you to chase your dreams and help you provide value to your target audience.

How Squirrly 2016 Makes Your Landing Pages and Woo-Commerce Sites SEO Friendly

squirrly 2016

It’s a great day here at Squirrly Central, as we’ve just launched the 2016 version of Squirrly SEO.

In this article I’ll explain the new things that Squirrly 2016 brings and I’ll have a short video at the end of the article for those of you who’d much rather look at a video to get the goods.

Last year has been fantastic, and having Neil Patel become a Power user of Squirrly was a great thing. He wrote on his main blog that he uses Squirrly SEO every time he writes a new post. This was wonderful, but no matter how many people say they love the plugin and the software, we’ll always keep making it better.

Neil Patel uses this #wordpress plugin http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/squirrly-seo/ every time he writes a new post on his #blog. Click To Tweet

As things change very fast in the Digital world, so do your needs for Marketing.

1. The Instapage Story and the Magic Squirrly 2016 does for your landing pages.

For example, we’ve added the new HomePage of Squirrly.co back in October and while it helped more people reach our Content Writing Services, we’re now looking back at the Google Analytics reports from that period and we see nothing. Why?

It’s because we’ve used a software called Instapage to create the main page. What I didn’t realize when deploying that page to WordPress was that instapage would ACTUALLY take out every single thing from the website. Instead of just playing along with whatever you have in WordPress, it gets everything out and leaves only it’s own code inside the page’s source code.

That is horrible!

It took out my Google Analytics tracking. And also it took out the SEO Settings made by Squirrly.

Using Instapage on #wordpress can destroy your Google Analytics data if you don't do This One Thing #instapage Click To Tweet

By the time I’ve realized this, it was a bit too late.

Anyway, I know that you guys and gals are always trying to get the best new tools, so I’m sure you’ve at least seen something written about Instapage on the web. Some of you may have already tried it.

If you want to start using it for yourself then: Go AHEAD! The 2016 version of Squirrly does some pretty cool magic and makes sure that Instapage doesn’t delete any code from Squirrly SEO.

That means that you’ll be able to have great-looking landing pages and you’ll also be able to keep your SEO and Google Analytics tracking code (if you place the tracking code inside WordPress -> Squirrly -> SEO).

2) External Canonical Link for the Win!

The new Squirrly allows you to easily let Google know whenever you copy something into your page from an external source.

Let’s say that you wrote some great article on your LinkedIN and you’d like to also have the article in your blog now.

Normally, you’d just go to LinkedIN, copy the article and then have it pasted inside your WordPress blog.

For doing that, Google would normally penalize you for Duplicate Content!

With the new version of Squirrly you can set these fears aside, because you have the following box under the title text area in your WordPress Edit Post interface:

Screenshot 2016-01-15 23.00.05

In the “Canonical link:” box you can write the URL of the post you’ve made on LinkedIN (or any outside page or domain name for that matter).

Then, if you’ll hit Publish you’ll no longer have a problem with Google, because by doing this thing right here you’re telling Google “Hey, the original post is the one from the canonical link”. The search engine will see that you’ve specified the source and will go on ranking the original page, without causing you any harm for having the same information on your site.

You can also use this in case you have a Media site and sometimes you copy news bits from other websites.

But most of the people will use this for bringing content they’ve already written somewhere else on the web to their own blogs.

One other use-case for this is when you have a Woo-Commerce store for example and you copy and paste the product description. Most e-commerce sites in the world copy and paste product information, without investing in creating new product copy.

The problem is that Google finds out about this and considers it duplicate content.

With Squirrly 2016, you can just mention the original source and you’ll be okay. As easy as that.

Talking about woo-commerce, this leads me to the following:

3) The Ultimate WordPress Plugin for WooCommerce SEO

Yes, Squirrly 2016 brings more power than ever to your woocommerce.

Better SEO for Product Pages that you already have.

First off: remember Idea (2) from this article. You’ll need to get the updated version of the plugin and start implementing what I’ve written there. Get canonical links in for all the PRODUCT description pages where you copied the information from some other website.

This is mandatory.

Then use a google ping service to make sure Google finds out that you’ve finally specified the original. It will win you some points back.

And: very important: if you don’t want to keep copying product info from the web, you can have a team of professional writers to create the copy for the products. It will be original and it will help you so much more.

Meta Title And Description to make your Google Search Results listings stand out

Other than that, you can finally optimize the Product Pages and customize the META Title and Description so that your listings on Google will look great.

What’s even more impressive is that your WooCommerce products will finally be Social !!

Perfect for when your fans share your Products on Social Media

You can share any product page that you’ve optimized with Squirrly 2016 on Social Media and it will look Amazing.

Open Graph will make it look great when it’s shared on: Facebook, Google Plus and LinkedIN.

Twitter cards will make it look amazing when people share it on Twitter.

It is super exciting, so if you own a WooCommerce store or know somebody who does, this is now the perfect plugin for it.

Better Sitemap to Help Your Products Get Picked Up By Google

Yes: there’s a special add-on to the sitemaps generated by Squirrly SEO 2016.

It creates a special sitemap for the products that you have published in your store, which will get them indexed much better.

They look great, are well-formatted for both the search engine and even Humans to whom you might share the link to check out lists of products. Yup, you can even to that.

It picks up Youtube Videos, Images, Vimeo Videos, FLV videos, Wistia videos, etc. and places them in the listing it creates with all the products in the sitemap. That’s a serious advantage.

4) You’ll witness the power of 2016’s Social Media Sharing on Facebook, Google Plus and LinkedIN.

There have been many updates in the past months to the Open Graph, which is used by Facebook and other social media sites.

The best thing is that with Squirrly 2016 you’ll have access to all the latest changes:

Multiple Images

and

Videos

Yes, when somebody shares your blog, or your pages on social media, everybody will see content that just looks amazing. You can even have Video in it, so that it will be more engaging for the friends and followers of the people who share your content.

And you can have multiple images showing up on social media for a single post.

This is a great thing when you want to show off more great images for a single blog post.

It’s perfect for a game developer who’s showing off screenshots or concept art. It’s perfect for a Photographer showing off her latest works of art.

It’s definitely perfect for anyone trying to showcase some highly visual content or blog post.

5) Twitter Cards were a problem for most media sites until now, but Squirrly 2016 has an amazing update and fix for that!

Twitter Cards. They were such a big problem.

I don’t know if you know, so I’ll give you a speedy update on this one:

Lately Twitter made sure that no app can display how many times your blog was shared on Twitter. That’s because they want YOU to start using their Twitter Analytics product.

Also, they were toying around with their Twitter cards, which made a lot of marketers and website owners angry, because the blogs that people shared on twitter looked horrible.

Out team was no stranger to this problem and we had to add extra images to Buffer when we scheduled our twitter posts, to make sure that when the content gets published on Twitter it actually looks good.

But: finally, Twitter decided to come to their senses, and now the Twitter Cards were great again, but you need Squirrly 2016 for that, because it supports:

summary and summary_large_image

The summary large image is the setting that makes your Twitter feed look highly visual, by displaying a nice large image from your post into the Twitter feed.

6) Sitemaps. Sized Up for 2016.

The Sitemaps generated by Squirrly 2016 are better than ever.

There’s no need to have other plugins handling this, as it will most probably mess the speed of your WordPress dashboard.

Right now, the sitemaps generated by the new version are amazing.

They work perfect on multi-site installs.

There are more sitemaps than just one.

This is great, because it allows far better access for search engine crawlers, which in turn tells Google that your site is very well made and that it’s a quality site. By having this, the search engine will be likely to start indexing new text, images and videos from your website a LOT faster than other websites from your industry.

Speaking of images and videos:

Videos. All the right web formats:

The Squirrly 2016 sitemap knows how to place videos in the sitemaps it generates. Until now, it only took in Youtube videos, but right now it does so much more:

Youtube, Vimeo, FLV, Wistia.

If you have it, it will grab it.

The added benefit and value for YOU here is that by seeing these in the sitemap, search engines will index these videos better and rank them higher when people search for this specific type of content.

7) WordPress 4.4 Compatible AND it works with a wide range of WordPress Themes.

By now you’ve most probably seen that most of the magic from Squirrly happens on our own servers, which is why Squirrly is more powerful than the other seo plugins out there.

We simply can do a lot more than the others, because most things run on our back-end, not yours. If it ran from your WordPress site, it would make your site run slower. And that would be really bad for you.

While I’m really happy that we have this competitive advantage over everybody else in the market, I must say that it’s not always sunshine and rainbows down in Squirrly Land.

Why?

Because other WordPress theme developers and other plugin developers out there do not respect the WordPress guidelines by heart, when creating their products.

It’s not very obvious, but that causes a lot of problems for us. We Always have to come up with counter-measures, just because they’re not doing their jobs right, and most of the time they’ll mess up with WordPress hooks and with the Javascript in your sites.

And since there are just so many developers out there creating themes for WordPress, it’s really hard for us to keep up with that, especially because we want to make the product a lot better. Most of our R&D efforts are sometimes spent on installing themes and seeing if they are compatible.

Thanks to great people like you who reach out to us and tell us about incompatibility issues, we manage to move much faster than we normally could in fixing these problems.

You are the best!

And we’re really happy to have such great customers.

The best part for YOU here is that we actually do stuff with the feedback you give us.

We don’t just go around saying: “hey, these people are nice. They offer feedback”. We get everything you tell us and release better versions of Squirrly. Day in and day out.

And boom: Squirrly 2016.

It works with a seriously wide range of WordPress themes right now.

We’ve done impossible things to make this happen.

But it works.

And it’s brilliant!

Also, the plugin is fully compatible with WP 4.4

Start Upgrading to 2016. It’s free to upgrade, and unlike Windows 10, we will not disappoint!
